The International Training Institute (ITI) was a wonderful centre for the development of people from developing countries. It aimed to provide the knowledge and skills required to effect social and economic change.
The International Training Institute ran three month long courses for experienced administrators, teachers and managers from developing nations in the Pacific, Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. ITI started in1973 and in 1987 became the AusAID Centre for Pacific Development and Training (ACPAC)
